 Journey back in time and enjoy the atmosphere of a 16th century village at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival.
Interact with over 500 costumed characters including mounted knights, courtly ladies, and motley fools as you roam the shaded paths of the 16 acre grounds. Rest at one of the many stages to enjoy singers, jugglers, musicians, and comical performances or dine on smoked turkey legs or roasted ears of corn. Little ones will frolic in the children’s realm and adults can enjoy ales and bawdry entertainment in the beer garden.
The KC Renaissance Festival changes each year, and in fact, each weekend features different themes. Swashbuckling pirates, invading Scotts, and barbarian hordes make each weekend unique. Pick your favorite theme, or become a friend of the shire and enjoy a season’s worth of renaissance festival fun.
If you get swept up in the pageantry and romance of the festival, you can always tie the knot at one of several scenic settings. Get married in a 16th century chapel, the royal gardens or on the pub deck.
